Who we are & scope

We operate an online marketplace that enables customers to order fresh meat and seafood with distance-based delivery pricing and real-time stock visibility. This Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

We comply with Indian laws including the Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act and Rules. We are also aligning our practices with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Definitions

  • Personal Data: Any information that can identify you (name, phone, address, etc.).

  • Customer: A user who places orders.

  • Delivery Partner: A person who signs up to deliver orders.

  • Vendor/Seller: A store or fulfillment partner listing inventory on our Platform.

Data we collect

Customers

  • Identity & contact details: name, mobile number, email.

  • Addresses & location: saved addresses; optional precise location if you grant permission (used for serviceability and distance-based delivery charges).

  • Order & billing details: items, amounts, instructions, invoices, offers.

  • Payment information: tokenized details processed by payment gateways. We do not store full card or UPI credentials.

  • Device/usage data: app version, device identifiers, crash logs, IP, cookies, SDK data for analytics and fraud prevention.

Delivery Partners

  • Onboarding & KYC: name, mobile, photo, address, driving licence, vehicle number, PAN/Aadhaar (where legally required), bank details for payouts.

  • Operations data: location during active deliveries, attendance, earnings, support tickets, device telemetry.

Vendors/Sellers

  • Business & contact details: legal name, GSTIN, FSSAI details, pickup address, bank details, point of contact

Distance‑based delivery & location permissions

If you grant location permission, the app may read precise location to compute delivery charges, show nearby inventory, and improve ETA accuracy. You may deny permission and enter your address manually.

Payments

We use third-party payment processors for UPI, cards, and wallets. They may retain limited records for compliance. We do not store your full payment credentials.

Cookies & SDKs

We use cookies and SDKs for authentication, remembering choices, performance analytics, crash reporting, attribution, and fraud prevention. Advertising identifiers can be reset or limited via your device settings.

Sharing of data

We share information only as necessary:

  • Vendors/Sellers (to fulfil orders).

  • Delivery Partners (customer name, address, masked contact).

  • Payment processors (to process payments).

  • Infrastructure and analytics providers (hosting, logs, crash reporting).

  • KYC/verification vendors (for Delivery Partners).

  • Mapping/geo services (address validation, routing).

  • Communication providers (SMS, email, push).

  • Law enforcement or regulators, where legally required.

  • Corporate transactions (e.g., mergers), subject to safeguards.

We do not sell Personal Data.

Children

Our Platform is not intended for persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfers

Data may be stored or processed outside India on global cloud servers. Transfers will comply with applicable law, using contractual and technical safeguards. We will update this section as government rules are notified.

Data retention

  • Customer account data: while active and for up to six years after the end of the financial year, or longer if legally required.

  • Invoices, order, and tax records: minimum six years from the due date of the annual GST return.

  • Corporate books/ledgers: up to eight years under the Companies Act.

  • Delivery Partner KYC and payout records: for the duration of engagement and typically five to eight years thereafter for compliance.

Data is deleted or anonymised when retention periods end, unless law requires longer storage.

Security

We apply security safeguards including encryption, access controls, audit logging, vulnerability management, and staff training. While no system is fully secure, we maintain processes to detect and respond to incidents.

Your rights & choices

You may:

  • Access a summary of your data.

  • Correct or update inaccuracies.

  • Request deletion of data no longer required.

  • Withdraw consent (e.g., for marketing or precise location).

  • Nominate another person to exercise rights on your behalf, if legally provided.

  • Raise grievances with us.
